For Víctor Manuel Almendariz, music has been part of his life since he was 12 years old. What began with an interest in guitar and piano eventually led him to the instrument that became his musical voice—the electric bass.

His journey started in a Christian church worship group, and by 16, Víctor had formed his own Cumbia Tropical group. His musical experience continued to expand through Tejano, Conjunto, Rock, Norteño, and other styles, building the versatility he brings to the stage today.

Víctor has been part of Inalcansable since 2010 and now serves as the band's Musical Director and electric bassist. Deeply influenced by Ramón Ayala y Sus Bravos del Norte and El Poder del Norte, he brings years of experience to the music—but for Víctor, the real reward happens when the audience becomes part of the show.

Seeing people dancing, singing, and losing themselves in the music is what makes performing special.

As Víctor puts it:

“This is another level.”

Every performance is another opportunity to create a memory, continue growing, and give the audience the same passion that has kept Víctor behind the bass for decades.

For Raul Fuentes, the accordion began as a personal challenge. Inspired by players like Jaime De Anda, David Lee Garza, Oscar Hernandez, and Steve Jordan, he became fascinated with the instrument and made a decision:

“I want to learn how to play that.”

Raul found a local accordion teacher, went to Hermes Music, bought his first three-switch accordion, and got to work. That decision started a musical journey spanning roughly 20 years, even as work and life's responsibilities sometimes pulled him away from playing.

Today, Raul brings that experience to Inalcansable, where he has played accordion for approximately a year and a half. What he values most is the chemistry between the musicians—the ability to accept criticism, challenge each other, and still share a genuine love for the music.

Playing alongside talented musicians pushes him:

“I play with great musicians, and I have to play at their level.”

When Inalcansable hits the stage, Raul's mission is simple: connect with the crowd, get people on the dance floor, and make sure they feel the music.

For Francisco “Pancho” Cruz Jr., music has always been connected to something deeper—family, people, and the joy of sharing a moment together. Inspired by his late parents, whom he lovingly credits as “Mi Apa y Mi Ama,” Pancho has been the voice of Inalcansable since the group's earliest days.

As lead vocalist, he doesn't spend much time thinking about what he brings to the stage. What matters to him is what happens in front of it: seeing people smile, have fun, and lose themselves in the music.

That same sincerity shapes how Pancho approaches every song, whether Inalcansable is performing a cover or one of its own. For him, the music deserves genuine effort, dedication, and respect.

One of his favorite memories came when a nationally recognized group performing in Laredo forgot the lyrics to a song mentioning the city. Pancho and the band helped mouth the words from nearby, earning a laugh, a thank-you, and a shout-out from the stage.

Offstage, Pancho is much the same—outgoing, genuine, and someone who naturally enjoys taking care of his family and friends.
